Choosing the right offshore containers can be a confusing task. There are so many different varieties, it may be difficult for you to choose which ones will best suit your needs. BSL offers eight different types of offshore containers built to the stringent specifications and regulations available in the container manufacturing industry: the DNV 2.7-1, the EN 12079, ISO 1161, and the CSC (on appropriate models). Below is a brief overview of BSL offshore containers and their applications.
Dry Containers
Dry goods offshore containers are ideal for holding general purpose goods -- goods that do not require temperature control, and are of standard sizes and dimensions. Examples of goods that are held in dry containers are tiles, textiles, and small tools. BSL has five types of dry offshore containers for your needs.
Half Height Containers
Half height containers are best for goods that need to be accessed from the top rather than from the sides -- and for items that are over-height and off-dimension. Pipes, metal bars, iron ore, and grains are typically seen in half height containers. BSL has two models of half height offshore containers to meet your needs.
Open Top Containers
Open top offshore containers are similar to half height containers, only taller. Choose these for when you have more of a product to store or move that won't fit into a half height containers, but you still require the convenience of top loading and unloading. BSL offers two models, with or without shelving, to suit your unique uses.
Mini Containers
Minis are a good fit for tools and smaller amounts of products, and come with the option of shelves or without shelves. BSL has two types of mini containers, one with a shelf and one without.
Cargo Baskets
Cargo baskets are most useful for pipes and risers, and are completely customizable to order for your offshore needs. They can be made to stack, can be fitted with cargo restraining nets, and have drainage points to relieve excess moisture from inside the baskets. BSL makes these to order.
Cutting Skips
Cutting skips are ideal for debris and holding detritus from cleanup projects. BSL has a model that is best for most offshore applications.
Chemical Tanks
Naturally, chemical tanks are for storing all sorts of chemicals. These offshore containers are made to the strictest standards in the industry (as are all BSL offshore containers), and available in three different sizes.
Offshore Reefers
Any goods requiring temperature control should go into an offshore reefer container. BSL offers two sizes to fit your needs.
